Thanks, mom

So living practically next to mom has its benefits:

full cabinets

full fridge

full freezer

and a full liquor cabinet!

Okay, maybe not the last one. But the question is, how do we eat (or drink) all this food (and booze)?

Day 14: brunch, breakfast potatoes, French toast and devised eggs

We were hungover and tired, so I gathered what I had in the fridge and made these. It would also explain the lack of photos.

Day 13: dinner, house warmer

For the house warmer, I prepared a few dishes, but I didn't get a chance to photograph all. They were all simple to make but the cook time was long for some. Enjoy!

The drinks that partied with us:

Ham quiche:

Oven roasted potatoes with mozzarella:

And some of us eating Hawaiian burgers by the fireplace hehe

Day 12: dinner with the parents, 가림

For dinner, we went to the new Korean restaurant with my parents.

4 servings of galbi later, we were full and satisfied. I'd say best Korean BBQ in Montgomery, but that title isn't too difficult to earn. To make the night better, the dinner was on the house, compliments of the owner who congratulated us on our wedding. :)

Day 12: breakfast, biscuit and gravy

During the honeymoon, I had an amazing breakfast at Spices. There, I remembered why I love gravy so much.
All you need for this delicious easy 15 min snack is!

Follow instruction on both packages. Only thing I noticed was after 10 min baking time at 450 degrees, they were not done and I could see the top browning quickly. I lowered the temp to 400 and let it bake additional 5 minutes for the rest of the biscuit to more evenly brown.

Day 11: lunch, 꼬꼬면

For lunch, we had ramen. Apparently this 꼬꼬면 has gained popularity in Korea so much to the point that it's sold out in major stores. However, thanks to Jin's father, we got our hands on a few.

Much deserving my title "newbie" wife, I forgot to time Jin's arrival from work with the prep and cook time of the ramen. Simply said, what Jin had for lunch was more of a 죽 than a ramen.

Finished product, with no extra ingredients aside from an egg.

Honestly, I don't know what the hype was about, because I would rate it alright at the most, like all other ramen. -_-

Day 11: home sweet home

Prior to the wedding, it looked as if a bomb detonated inside our apt.

Fortunately, during the honeymoon, my mom cleaned it so we could return to a clean home.

2 days later, with the unpacking, somehow surfaced large amounts of "junk"

On the bright side, my mom has gifted us with a new coffee table! And hello there Brownie...

Voila! :)
